Where has the newsletter been? Without boring you with technical details about switching to the WordPress platform, my business priority has changed from a difficult people focus to the larger issue of leader fear, which includes difficult people as a subset. I believe that fear is perhaps the greatest workplace challenge faced by leaders today.

FACTOID: Who’s the King?

Despite continually evolving technology and tightened purse strings, 65 percent of learning executives indicated they continue to use classroom training as the primary learning delivery method for developing soft skills, according to an analysis of survey data from Chief Learning Officer and the Business Intelligence Board.Traditional classroom-based, instructor-led training remains king in today’s learning organizations, especially for critical management and leadership skills. Forty-one percent of learning executives indicated they continue to use classroom training as the primary learning delivery method.
